Are you looking for alternative ways to enjoy a chicken salad? Pinsalad is just what you need! Just bake the Pinsa Pinsami base for 5 minutes and you’re good to go!
Start by preparing the chicken salad. Trim a chicken breast by removing the central bone and then cut it in half. Transfer it to a non-stick pan and season with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and a pinch of salt, and pepper. Let it brown over high heat until a golden crust forms, then continue cooking over a low heat, turning it a couple of times. Once cooked, simply cut it into small strips.
Now you can prepare the pinsa base as you prefer:
- Cooking in the air fryer: place Pinsami in the basket with the base facing down, without baking paper or foil, and set the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 3 minutes. Repeat the same procedure, turning it on the other side and setting the air fryer at 200°C (390°F) for 2 minutes.
- Frying pan cooking: place the Pinsami pinsa on a preheated non-stick pan or griddle. If necessary, you can cut it in half or use the Mini Pinsa. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side.
- Cooking in the toaster: cut the Pinsami into slices and place them in the preheated toaster for about 4 minutes, or according to your chosen level of toasting.
Once cooked, spread the ingredients: some arugula, mixed salad, previously cooked chicken breast shreds, semidried cherry tomatoes, feta cubes and a pinch of salt on the base.
