A crispy pinsa base topped with delicious caramelized red onions and creamy gorgonzola, all complemented with the tantalizing aroma of marjoram. Take your guests on a journey across the Alps with the taste of Pinsami.
1) Peel the onions and slice them into rings, but not too thin.
2) Arrange a layer of onions in a bowl and sprinkle them with salt, add another layer and some more salt. Continue this process until you’ve used up all the onions.
3) Cover and rest for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, dissolve the sugar in vinegar in a small bowl.
4) Arrange the onion rings over the entire surface of the Pinsa.
5) Brush with the sweetened vinegar and drizzle with a bit of oil. Bake in a preheated fan oven at 200°C for 8-10 minutes.
6) Remove from the oven and top with chunks of gorgonzola and a few sprigs of marjoram.
